🌿 Paris Travel Diary - Le Moulin Jaune: People and Space 🌼

This lesser-known garden—Le Moulin Jaune, located east of Paris—is one of the most beautiful places I visited on this trip. In terms of practicality, aesthetics, and size, it surpasses Monet's Garden in my heart. 💚 I lingered here for four hours. As someone who easily gets bored, I found immense satisfaction strolling through this garden, and I left feeling reluctant to say goodbye. On a hot summer day, the greenery all around was refreshing, and both the pathways and the cultural elements were exquisitely designed. ☀️🌳 The most striking feature is the windows and curtains: throughout the garden, you’ll find beautiful or weathered windows that aren’t attached to walls. Sometimes they lead to a dock by the stream, other times they separate a set of tables and chairs by the bank. At times, they seem to float in the water, resembling an entrance to an underwater world, or they’re buried underground, as if trees are growing out of them. 🌊🌱 Different spaces are divided by windows or curtains, creating an openness and structure that, combined with the flowers and greenery, fills the garden with a sense of breathability and inclusiveness. Another element I adore is the mist. In the center of the garden, there’s a pathway shrouded in mist, making you feel like you’ve entered a fairyland. Within it, there's a tranquil space surrounded by plants, featuring the twelve zodiac signs. 🐉🐍🐰 I felt that this part almost directly replicated the essence of the line “Wandering by the stream, forgetting the distance of the road, I suddenly stumbled upon a peach blossom forest.” The winding paths and subtle hints evoke a touch of Chinese aesthetic beauty. 🌸✨ #RecommendedPlacesInParis #Paris #HiddenGems #Essays
