Paris Weekend | Chantilly Castle in the Suburbs 🏰🍃

Recently, I've been under a lot of academic pressure, and I haven't posted many photos. This was a weekend trip to Château Chantilly in the Paris suburbs at the beginning of November, about an hour's drive away. 🌟 Admission: The castle ticket (including the stables) and the garden ticket are separate. A combined ticket for the castle and garden is 17 euros, and with an ISIC student card, it's 13.5 euros. The garden is quite large, and if you plan to visit both the castle and the garden, it might be tiring and you might need to take a tour train, which is an additional cost. Horse shows also require a separate ticket. 🌟 Highlights: This is the place where cream was invented. Although this place has a long history, only a small part of the original ancient structure remains, with the rest being renovated and rebuilt. The owner of the castle was once the Grand Condé, and I've seen a painting on the first floor of the Orsay Museum depicting Louis XIV receiving the castle's owner, Grand Condé, in Versailles in 1674. There's a cream-making experience activity during the peak season, which is quite interesting, but I visited in November during the off-season, so it wasn't available. I recommend coming during the peak season. 🌟The overall design of the castle is similar to Versailles, especially the garden and water features, as they were both designed by André Le Nôtre, who also designed the gardens of Fontainebleau, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Versailles Palace, and the Tuileries Garden. The interior design and decoration of the castle are quite impressive, not overly luxurious but very exquisite. The interior space is quite large with many rooms and functional areas. What left a deep impression was the large library and gallery, and a dome that many people come to check off their list. 🌟The castle ticket includes a visit to the stables, where there are many horses, and you can also experience horse riding. Without guidance, it's recommended for those with equestrian experience to ride here. To watch the horse show, you need to buy a ticket that includes the show, and it's not held every day. #France #ParisLife #ParisWeekendGetaways
