Parisian French Cuisine 💯 | -50% Atmosphere Bistro Le Reminet
🍽️ Monday is a tough day for dining out as many regular restaurants are closed. The picky boss pointed us to a quaint Latin Quarter bistro (perfect for a night view of Notre-Dame), and guess what? 🎉 You can enjoy a 50% discount! 🎉 Let's talk about the food: It was surprisingly delicious! The seasonal menu had changed, and dishes like the octopus legs I saw in other posts were gone, but no worries, because the new dishes were just as tasty! 🥗 Appetizer: We ordered the one thing I usually hate—beef tongue (my friend never indulges me). But these thick, char-grilled slices of beef tongue, laid out on a bed of spiced mashed potatoes, were so bouncy, tender, and chewy without being greasy! The moment I bit into it, I fell in love with beef tongue! 🍖 Main Course: We had duck and cabbage pork rolls. Honestly, I've had duck in many restaurants, but! Here's the thing! Does this retro-artistic restaurant also go for innovation? The duck was paired with blueberry sauce! 🫐 Unlike other restaurants that serve large chunks of duck, theirs were smaller, leaner, and tender, complemented by the sweet and tangy blueberry sauce. For a moment, I couldn't tell if I was eating beef or duck! I'd give it a 9.9 out of 10, with 0.1 deducted for the shepherd's purse hidden under the duck, which wasn't tasty! 🍮 Dessert: Homemade pain perdu, a dessert with various levels of sweetness (from top to bottom: caramel, ice cream, chocolate, sweet crunch, homemade French toast). It's a dessert with depth and layers. 🏠 #FrenchLife #ParisLife #ParisFood #FrenchParisFood #ParisianFrenchCuisine #ParisianFrenchCuisineRecommendations #FrenchCuisine
