Our evening at Slightly North of Broad was absolutely unforgettable—without a doubt, the best meal we had during our trip to Charleston! ✨ The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and romantic—perfect for a special date night. From the moment we stepped inside, the staff made us feel welcome with their genuine warmth and attentive service. 🤗 We started with a peach old fashioned at the bar—highly recommended! 🍑🥃—before being seated. Our server was fantastic—knowledgeable about both the menu and the area, and her recommendations were spot-on. 👌 For appetizers, we shared steamed clams and beef carpaccio. Both were outstanding! The clams were served in a rich, flavorful broth with plenty of fresh bread for dipping, and the beef carpaccio was prepared to perfection. 🥖🍋 For my main course, I ordered the shrimp and grits—award-winning since 2016—and it lived up to its reputation! Creamy, rich, and full of flavor. 🍤 My husband had the lollipop lamb chops—tender, juicy, and cooked exactly to his liking. 🍖🔥 We ended by sharing a jar of sea salt chocolate for dessert—decadent and delicious, the perfect finale to an incredible meal. 🍫❤️ If you’re in Charleston and looking for a memorable dining experience, Slightly North of Broad is a must-visit.
