Perfect for the Honolulu Marathon & Close to Ala Moana Center! 🏃♂️
I stayed here for the Honolulu Marathon—my first time back in four years! I booked directly through the official website. The rate was almost double what it was pre-pandemic, but given the time of year and the event, it’s probably unavoidable. From the airport, I took an Uber, and the hotel was easy to find—it’s a well-known property with its own tram station 🚎. Upon arrival, the porter approached me right away, which felt welcoming and smooth. At the front desk, there was a Japanese staff member, which made communication stress-free for me. I requested an early check-in and was happily accommodated as asked—great start! 👍 Our room was on the 29th floor with a beautiful harbor and ocean view. We could even clearly see the Friday night Hilton fireworks right from our window! 🎆 The room was spacious enough, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The shower and tub were separate from the toilet, which was convenient. There were plenty of towels, plus quality robes and slippers. The coffee maker and kettle were handy, and with multiple USB ports, I had no complaints about connectivity 🔌. A nice eco-friendly touch: the bottled water included in the resort fee was refilled using aluminum bottles ♻️. The pool and Jacuzzi area was lovely and not too crowded, which was perfect for relaxing after the marathon 🏊♂️💦. Overall, this is an excellent hotel. My only minor issue was that one of the elevators couldn’t select the button for my floor—but that’s a small point in an otherwise flawless stay!♻️ #HonoluluMarathon #AlaMoanaCenter #ConvenientStay #OceanView #EcoFriendly #HotelReview #Waikiki #JapaneseFriendly #ComfortableStay #GreatAmenities
