Who hasn't been to Perrine in New York for a birthday celebration yet? It's me!๐โโ๏ธ This week, a friend had their birthday, and we celebrated at Perrine, the most photogenic hotel restaurant on the Upper East Side of New York. ๐ ๐ธ๐ Located on the first floor of The Pierre Hotel, the ambiance is truly elegant and vintage, exuding that classic New York vibe. Although opinions about their food are mixed, I thought the flavors were quite good overall this time: 1๏ธโฃ Escargots (Snails with Mashed Potatoes): Surprisingly delightful! The snails are perfectly roasted and fragrant, paired with smooth mashed potatoes for a rich and delicious combination. 2๏ธโฃ Salmon Toast: A staple, but the salmon is exceptionally fresh and fatty, prepared very well. 3๏ธโฃ Scallops: Tender and perfectly pan-seared, though the sauce was a bit salty. But without the salt, scallops can indeed taste bland. #NewYork ๐๐
