PhD Daily Life | A Great Place to Unwind: Boston Urban Axes🪓
I never knew throwing axes could be so much fun! It’s an incredibly stress-relieving activity, especially after a non-stop week of research. For an hour, a coach teaches you two methods of axe throwing, one-handed and two-handed. It’s a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, hitting the target is super satisfying.🌟 👬 It’s suitable for groups of three to six people. It’s about $30 per person per hour including coaching, not including tips and drinks. In the end, it’s roughly$40 per person. You’ll learn to throw with both hands, then there’s a group competition, and finally, you get to try the shop’s legendary large axe🪓 (which is almost impossible to lift). It’s also a great place for group gatherings, with a cafe area next door where you can continue chatting after your axe throwing session.🌟 There’s a good Thai massage place nearby, Smile Thai, making it a one-stop shop for gatherings and massages. Although after a 3+ hour computer marathon, it feels like the massage was for nothing.🌟 Tip: You’ll need to fill out a waiver when you arrive. #BostonLife #BostonSpotCheckIn
