Philadelphia: Crispy Skin Roasted Fish Is So Delicious
🌟 Yi Pin Restaurant 1026 Race St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 I highly recommend the pickled cabbage fish and roasted fish here! They’re even better than many I’ve had in China. The taste truly transports you back home in an instant! The menu also offers various flavors of bullfrog hot pot, but I’ve never dared to try bullfrog. For those who are interested, give it a shot! 🍲 Golden Broth Pickled Cabbage Fish The dish uses a whole fresh fish, filleted into pieces. You can see the complete fish skeleton. The fillets are almost boneless, tender, and very fresh. Unlike other pickled cabbage fish I’ve had, the parts near the bones are either roasted or fried, making the fish meat crispy and delicious! The broth is also worth praising, reportedly made from bone stock.👍🏻 🐟 Garlic Crispy Skin Roasted Fish When you take a bite, you immediately hear the crispy sound of the fish skin breaking apart! Some of the fish meat is also crispy. This is the first time I’ve had roasted fish like this, and I love it. The cooking is perfectly done, something I could never achieve at home. I suggest letting the roasted fish sit for a while after it’s served to let the flavors soak in. The accompanying vegetables include lotus root slices, tofu puffs, kelp, and bean sprouts, and the portions are generous. Yi Pin and Malatang Space are currently my top two favorite places for roasted fish. If you like crispy skin, give this one a try. #DinnerTonight #Philadelphia #PhillyFood #PhillyExploration
