Philadelphia|Amada 🍤✨

After living in Philly for so long, I finally tried Amada for the first time! We ordered red and white sangria — nice and refreshing as casual drinks. 🥘 Paella Mariscos – Their signature Spanish seafood paella. Really delicious! Loaded with shrimp, clams, squid, and fish, served over squid ink rice. Even better than Barcelona Wine Bar’s version! 🐙 Spanish Octopus – A standout tapa! Crispy on the outside, tender and bouncy inside. Dip it in the creamy potato purée underneath — so satisfying! 🦐 Garlic Shrimp – Plump, juicy, and fresh. The bread soaks up the garlicky olive oil sauce perfectly — great with drinks. 🦑 Calamari – Squid + squid ink sauce. Pretty standard — I’d recommend the octopus over this. 🥩 Wagyu Skirt Steak – Loved this one! Grilled just right — tender and rich with beefy flavor. Served with a green fennel-based sauce. 🥗 Ham & Fig Salad – A bit too heavy on the balsamic for my taste (too tangy). Also didn’t really notice the figs — maybe they were chopped up with the nuts? 🍕 Shortrib Flatbread – So tasty! Like a thin-crust pizza topped with bacon jam and beef chunks. A must if you’re worried about not filling up. 🍢 Chicken Brochette – Recommended by our server, but just okay. Needed the spicy mayo-like sauce to give it more flavor. Overall, portions are on the smaller side — great for drinks and chatting, but to feel full, you’ll need to order several tapas. The above was shared by four people, around $70 per person. #PhillyFood #Amada #SpanishTapas #Sangria #Paella #PhillyEats #FoodieReview 🥂
