Philadelphia|Local Hidden Gem Coffee & Dessert Spots 🐇

🩷 As someone who’s been obsessed with coffee and desserts for two years in Philly — I highly recommend these coffee, dessert, and brunch spots! Madis Coffee Roasters If you live near University City, don’t miss this place — seats are often hard to snag! Their blueberry scones, chocolate scones, and all kinds of croissants are delicious. The dine-in vibe is super cozy and atmospheric. Elixr Chocolate croissant is a bit light on filling, but I love their blueberry tart. Great spot for studying. Brunch Spots I Keep Coming Back To: 🥞 Sabrina's Cafe (University City) Love their salmon poke bowl. The avocado eggs benedict never disappoints. But my all-time favorite? Their lemon cream cheese blueberry pancakes — perfectly balanced sweet and tart. 🐶 White Dog Cafe (University City) Highly recommend the Thai steak salad — the beef and udon combo is delicious, topped with crunchy peanuts. Truffle parmesan fries are a must — crispy, flavorful, perfection. The interior is warm and vintage, walls decorated with dog-themed art — super cozy vibe. Also super photogenic — so many cute dog elements everywhere! ☕️ Dessert & Coffee Shop — My Top 1: 🍮 Matcha Panda Cafe (Chinatown) I’ve tried so many things here — never had a miss 💝 Seriously incredible. Drinks: Cloud Oolong Matcha — perfect blend of oolong and matcha, light and refreshing Osmanthus Latte — delicate osmanthus aroma, warm and smooth Jasmine Latte — jasmine fragrance beautifully balanced with rich coffee Desserts: Tiramisu Mille Crêpe (matcha flavor) — gorgeous presentation, great for sharing between 2–3 people. Only downside: not available for takeout 😢 Pistachio & Chocolate Mille Crêpes — even better than Lady M! Layered perfectly, rich texture, chocolate version has crispy bits 🤤 Cream Puffs: Matcha, ube, Earl Grey — I love all except Earl Grey. They also have daily specials — sometimes yuzu or bamboo matcha flavors. One weekly special was hazelnut — absolutely amazing, though a little rich.😊🙌 Recently they launched an Oreo flavor — incredibly good! I’m a loyal fan of their cakes. Located under EVO, any cake ordered for dine-in comes with a scoop of ice cream — super photogenic! My personal favorites: lemon cake and hazelnut cake. During Lunar New Year, they even had limited-edition “Fu” character cakes and maneki-neko cakes — so cute! Also highly recommend their matcha strawberry latte and mango pomelo sago. #Philadelphia #PhillyEats #BrunchSpot #CoffeeLover #MatchaPanda #DessertHunt #HiddenGem
