Double Knot – Popular underground izakaya. First visit, tried the chef’s tasting menu — no need to think, and portions were generous! 🍽 Tuna Tartare – LOL tasted just like the poke from Penn’s Franklin’s Table 😂 🍽 Hamachi Carpaccio – Pretty standard. 🍽 Wagyu Soup Dumpling – A bit rich. 🍽 Shrimp Taco – Surprisingly tasty! Only looks like a taco — wrapper isn’t tortilla but still good. Shrimp was well-seasoned. 🍽 Broiled Sea Bass – Excellent! Moist, buttery, not oily — every bite was great. 🍽 Fried Rice (?) – Too wet 😅 🍽 NY Strip – Cooked perfectly, but the Japanese sweet potato on the side was too sweet.
