šŸ£ Philadelphia|This Chirashi Bowl at Izakaya Is Insane!

Wanted to try their Omakase but couldn’t get a reservation šŸ™ƒ So we walked in early at 5:30 PM — got seated after a short wait, pretty lucky! We ordered the Royal Chirashi, and when it arrived — the portion was jaw-dropping! So much going on, didn’t know where to start. Inside: 1ļøāƒ£ Salmon, tuna, white fish, scallops, squid, sweet shrimp – thick-cut, super fresh (some of the freshest sashimi in Philly! Though the white fish had a slight fishy note) 2ļøāƒ£ Uni (sea urchin) – generous amount, noticeably sweet Ikura (salmon roe) – perfectly salty, amazing with rice (tons of it!) 3ļøāƒ£ Tamago (egg omelet) – soft, slightly sweet, surprisingly delicious 4ļøāƒ£ Osetra Caviar – yes, actual caviar, and plenty of it! 5ļøāƒ£ Sushi rice at the bottom – well-seasoned, slightly tangy Overall: visually extravagant, flavor-wise solid. If you can’t snag an Omakase spot, this bowl won’t disappoint. $160, and two of us couldn’t finish it 🤷. (P.S. Their potato salad is also amazing!) šŸ“ Royal Sushi & Izakaya (Philadelphia) ā° Tip: Try walking in around 5:30 PM for a better chance at seating šŸ£ Must-order: Royal Chirashi #PhillyEats #ChirashiBowl #IzakayaPhilly #JapaneseFood #SashimiLover #FreshFish
