Philadelphia|Tomo’s Salmon Don Is Delicious!
Sharing a gem in Philly’s Old City — Tomo Japanese Restaurant! Their salmon rice bowl is one of the best I’ve had — seriously amazing. We usually order takeout, but this was our first dine-in visit, and it did not disappoint! 🍣 Salmon Don This bowl is pure satisfaction! A generous portion of rice topped with five different types of salmon sashimi — over 10 slices total! The salmon is incredibly tender and fresh, no fishy taste at all, especially the salmon belly — absolutely divine. And for just $25, the value is unbeatable! 🐟 Sashimi Deluxe We also tried the Sashimi Deluxe ($40) — eight types of sashimi, all quite good. Our favorite was again the salmon belly — rich, buttery, melts in your mouth. We’ve always stuck to sashimi here, but next time we’ll try their sushi and ramen too. 😅 A little side note: When we dined in, the crowd was mostly older… Let’s just say the elderly gentleman next to us was silently but persistently gassy, and kept glancing our way. We basically enjoyed our salmon with a side of… aroma 🫢. Thankfully, the salmon still tasted fantastic. 📍 Tomo Japanese Restaurant 228 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19106 #PhillyEats #SalmonDon #JapaneseFood #TomoPhilly #OldCity #SashimiLover #GreatValue
