π Philadelphia's A.kitchen | Another Day, Another Appetizer Win
In Philadelphia, appetizers really do outshine the main courses at most restaurants! Maybe I should just stick to ordering appetizers from now on. Haha! π½οΈ π₯ Chicken Liver Toast: This is seriously the best chicken liver toast I've ever had! The liver pΓ’tΓ© is smooth and rich, paired with sweet jam and crunchy nuts. It's a perfect blend of salty, sweet, and tangy that makes you close your eyes in bliss. I can't recommend it enough! π π Fried Mushrooms: These had that "fancy night market fried snack" vibe. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the dipping sauce was so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating them! π π¦ Duck Leg / Duck Breast: I tried both the duck leg and duck breast. The leg was way too salty, probably over-marinated, but they were kind enough to replace it when I mentioned it. My friend loved the breast, but I found it a bit too "ducky" for my taste. Haha. But I get why it's a popular choiceβmaybe it varies day-to-day. π¦ π¦ͺ Scallops: This was the standout among the main courses. The scallops were tender, and the side dishes were great, but they still couldn't quite match the brilliance of the appetizers. Haha! π¦ͺ π° Dessert (Paris-Brest): Crispy and fragrant, with a candle on top for that extra touch of ceremony. They added a candle when I mentioned it was my friend's birthday. π π Address: 135 S 18th St, Philadelphia π° Average Cost: Around $80+ π‘ I kind of regretted not coming during Restaurant Week. π #PhillyEats #PhillyDining #PhillyLife #PhillyDateSpots #Philly
