Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

πŸ“ Philadelphia's A.kitchen | Another Day, Another Appetizer Win

In Philadelphia, appetizers really do outshine the main courses at most restaurants! Maybe I should just stick to ordering appetizers from now on. Haha! 🍽️ πŸ₯‡ Chicken Liver Toast: This is seriously the best chicken liver toast I've ever had! The liver pΓ’tΓ© is smooth and rich, paired with sweet jam and crunchy nuts. It's a perfect blend of salty, sweet, and tangy that makes you close your eyes in bliss. I can't recommend it enough! 🍞 πŸ„ Fried Mushrooms: These had that "fancy night market fried snack" vibe. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the dipping sauce was so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating them! πŸ„ πŸ¦† Duck Leg / Duck Breast: I tried both the duck leg and duck breast. The leg was way too salty, probably over-marinated, but they were kind enough to replace it when I mentioned it. My friend loved the breast, but I found it a bit too "ducky" for my taste. Haha. But I get why it's a popular choiceβ€”maybe it varies day-to-day. πŸ¦† πŸ¦ͺ Scallops: This was the standout among the main courses. The scallops were tender, and the side dishes were great, but they still couldn't quite match the brilliance of the appetizers. Haha! πŸ¦ͺ 🍰 Dessert (Paris-Brest): Crispy and fragrant, with a candle on top for that extra touch of ceremony. They added a candle when I mentioned it was my friend's birthday. πŸŽ‚ πŸ“Œ Address: 135 S 18th St, Philadelphia πŸ’° Average Cost: Around $80+ πŸ’‘ I kind of regretted not coming during Restaurant Week. 😞 #PhillyEats #PhillyDining #PhillyLife #PhillyDateSpots #Philly
