Philadelphia's Le Virtu Italian Restaurant
On a rainy Friday evening, Bohan and I visited Rosie’s go-to Italian restaurant, Le Virtu, which never disappoints. We didn’t have high expectations for this South Philly spot, which isn’t very popular or well-documented on social media. But the duck and mushroom pasta, cheese platter, and rabbit baked beans were all delicious, especially the Fazzoletti dish. ❤️ Maccheroni alla Mugnaia This Italian lamb "soup" is a must-order signature dish! The pasta has a hand-pulled texture, coated in a slightly spicy and rich white sauce. The large pieces of lamb are tender and flavorful. It’s really delicious! ❤️ Cavatelli Verdi These green pasta shapes with red rabbit meat tomato sauce look incredibly appetizing. The addition of chili gives it a Southern Italian flair, making it impossible to stop eating. Bohan and I talked about many amusing topics, looked at various memes, and agreed that the guy in a suit at the next table was kind of handsome. Often, we were so impressed by the food that we were speechless, just giving thumbs up or nodding in approval. Even without talking, the vibe was comfortable and serene.
