💎 Philadelphia's Ultimate Steakhouse | Barclay Prime 🥩🍷

About ten days after the Lunar New Year, I dined with 12 friends at Barclay Prime, where we almost tried everything on the menu 😊. This place is actually a spin-off from Butcher and Singer, but I personally think the food and flavors here have always been better than the original. To sum it up: $250 per person for an amazing feast! 🥂 **Appetizers | A Seafood Lover's Delight** 📌 **Barclay Prime Grand Plateau** 🦞🦀🐚 • **Oysters**: Nicely chilled, fresh enough, but a bit small and no variety introduction. • **Lobster**: The meat is firm and sweet, decent. • **Tuna Tartare**: Can't go wrong with this classic. • **Jumbo Lump Crab Cake**: Almost all crab meat, very little filler. 📌 **King Crab** 🦀 Ordered an extra portion of king crab, and the meat was pretty good. 📌 **Chopped Salad** 🥗 A refreshing and crunchy mix that cuts through the richness. 📌 **Steak and Pearls** 🎎 Wagyu tartare with caviar and smoked mascarpone—simply delicious. 🥩 **Main Courses | Steak Extravaganza** • **A5 Wagyu Omi Striploin**: Marbled to perfection, melting in your mouth. One order per table is enough; too much can be overwhelming. • **Porterhouse | Bone-in Ribeye | NY Strip | Filet Mignon | Ribeye**: Tried all the steak options, and the bone-in ribeye was the MVP. • **Rack of Lamb**: Tender lamb chops with sweet onion sauce, yummy. • **Twin Lobster Tails**: The lobster meat was bouncy, but a bit ordinary compared to the steak. • **Foie Gras + Shaved Truffle**: The best sides: The foie gras portion was huge. 🍸 **Drinks Galore** • **Signature Manhattan**: A bit bitter and sweet, classic. • **Old Fashioned**: A perfect pairing with steak. • **Desert Rose | Pink Dove | Love Potion**: Each with its own unique flavor. Pink Dove is fruity and refreshing, while Love Potion is sweeter. • **Champagne**: As expected. 🍮 **Desserts** We tried the daily gelato flavors: Raspberry, Pomegranate, and Lime Sorbet. Not much different from Parc's gelato.
