Philadelphia | Condesa โ€” A Mexican Restaurant Full of Atmosphere ๐ŸŒฎ

Last Friday, I discovered this lovely Mexican spot in downtown Philly! The restaurant is spacious, bright, and lively, and they offer Happy Hour every Monday to Friday from 4โ€“7 PM. Happy Hour dishes and drinks are around $7โ€“10 each โ€” portions arenโ€™t huge, but itโ€™s good value. The ladies next to us ordered three or four Happy Hour items each to share โ€” seemed like a great idea, especially the grilled corn which looked amazing! From the Happy Hour menu, we tried: ๐ŸŒฝ Classic nachos with guacamole โ€“ Fresh and tasty. ๐ŸฅŸ Beef empanadas โ€“ Highly recommend! Tasted like a savory, fragrant stew wrapped in pastry โ€” so flavorful! The main courses were delightful surprises! ๐Ÿฅฉ Steak โ€“ Juicy and tender. (The bean sauce on the side was just okay.) ๐Ÿ— Half roasted chicken โ€“ Incredibly moist and flavorful, coated in Mexican chili powder โ€” aromatic with a nice kick! Even the next day, reheated in the air fryer, it stayed tender and juicy. ๐Ÿจ Dessert: Tropical Sundae Green scoop: Tomatillo sorbet โ€“ Tangy with a subtle herbal note, a unique taste experience! Red scoop: Guava-flavored โ€“ Slightly sandy texture, really nice. Two white scoops: Creamy ice cream โ€“ Rich and milky. Our server also highly recommended their rooftop bar โ€” definitely worth checking out if you're interested! ๐Ÿน๐ŸŒ‡ #PhillyLife #PhillyFood #Philadelphia #PhillyEats #GlobalEatsSquad #ExploreWorldFood
