Philadelphia | Hidden Lebanese-Style Brunch in Fishtown
Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood is truly filled with hidden brunch gems! This time, I tried Suraya, a Lebanese restaurant I’ve been eyeing for a while, and I was really impressed by both the beautiful atmosphere and the delightful brunch. ✨ Atmosphere on Point The restaurant’s interior is rich with Middle Eastern charm, but the best part is the garden patio out back. Surrounded by greenery and bathed in lazy sunlight, it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely weekend brunch. 🍽 Brunch Menu ($42/person, appetizer + main course) Appetizer Platter (with 5 different flavorful dips!) Hummus : Smooth and creamy, with a hint of garlic and lemon. Charred Eggplant: Full of smoky flavor, perfectly complemented by pomegranate seeds. Labneh : Rich and creamy, paired with refreshing cucumber, tomato, and olives—a must for cutting through the richness. Muhammara : Slightly spicy with a nutty aroma and cumin flavor. This one is the star of the show! Taboulé : Bursting with fresh cilantro and lemon, it’s light and refreshing. Served with freshly baked Lebanese flatbread, it’s incredibly satisfying to dip into these flavors. 🍖 Main Courses (Choose 1 out of 10; highly recommend these two 👇) Halabi Kebab: The lamb is tender and juicy, with a rich, aromatic blend of spices. Samke Harra : The branzino has a crispy skin and is served with a spicy tomato sauce. The flavors are incredibly layered, and the fish is perfectly cooked and tender. #100RestaurantAdventures #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaFood #Brunch #AmbianceDining
