Philadelphia | Middle Eastern Food with Only a 3% Tip... So Delicious
I stumbled upon a Middle Eastern restaurant in Old City, and after searching, I found out it's quite famous. Their official website claims it's the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Philadelphia. Conclusion first: It's so delicious😭absolutely amazing😭My girlfriend and I only ordered two dishes, which were more than enough, and we even took some leftovers home. 🥢Hummus Shawarma (Chicken Shawarma with Hummus and Pita Bread): The chicken has a flavor similar to curry and spices, and it's tender. Wrapped in pita bread with hummus, it's incredibly fragrant. 🥢Lamb Haneeth (Lamb Hand-Rice): The lamb is very tender, but I felt it was a bit salty. The rice doesn't have much spice flavor, so it goes well with the long-grain rice. I couldn't stop eating it. By the way, it comes with a green pepper sauce. The waiter warned us it was very spicy, but it was only mildly spicy. It's great for mixing with rice. (I even took a big jar home to use with other dishes, haha.) I didn't expect to write about it on Xiaohongshu because it was so delicious, so I only took one photo. It's really good, and I'll definitely go back! 📍Malooga, 134 Chestnut St #RestaurantShare #Must-VisitRestaurant #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaLife #IrresistibleExoticCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation
