Philadelphia | The Best Restaurant with Unique Flavors: Wilder

🧅Last year, a friend came to visit and insisted on trying the best restaurant in Philadelphia. I randomly chose Wilder, taking a gamble, and ended up falling in love with it. I’ve been there four times now, trying everything from brunch to dinner, and I’ve never been disappointed. I was hesitant to recommend it because I felt like hidden gems could be ruined by food bloggers, but anyway, good things deserve to be seen. 🧅No Must-Try Dishes: Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. The only exception is the dessert in the last picture, which is a bit too sweet for my taste. However, the other desserts are perfect—rich in flavor but not overly sweet (for reference, I think Tartes is too sweet). There was one time when the pasta was a bit salty, but compared to other similar places in Philadelphia, that’s a minor issue. 🧅For example, the frittata I ordered (Picture 2) is a common brunch item, but Wilder’s version is not only beautifully plated but also delicious. It has a light flavor with rich seasoning layers. Most importantly, the accompanying salad is incredible! It perfectly balances sour, bitter, salty, and sweet flavors. I usually hate salads, but I couldn’t get enough of this one! And the dish is only $18. What more could you ask for? 🧅Great Drinks: You can’t go wrong with the drinks here. If you love a bit of sweetness, you’re in for a treat. Note that the drink menus for Happy Hour and dinner are separate. There’s a blueberry rum-based drink during Happy Hour that’s very easy to drink, with a low alcohol content. I highly recommend it. The blue color might not look very appealing, but the taste is excellent. #PhillyFood #Philly #Foodie
