Philadelphia | The Little ๐ฎ๐น Bistro That Even Pasta-Skeptics Dream
After more than a year in Philly, this is one of the only restaurants Iโve wanted to revisit again and again โ I enjoyed it so much that I booked a table for the next week right after my first visit! This is a family-style Italian spot with a cozy, relaxed vibe. In the evenings, youโll often see big Italian families gathering for meals here. Itโs also BYOB, so donโt forget to bring your own wine! ๐ท My Top Recommendations ๐ฅฐ ๐ง Burrata Fritta โ Deep-fried burrata cheese, rich and creamy, balanced with balsamic vinegar and fresh tomatoes. So flavorful yet not heavy! ๐ฆ Spaghetti al Granchio โ The best pasta Iโve ever had! Thick, chewy noodles coated in a luscious mix of crab meat and cream, with a hint of tomato tang. Absolutely incredible! Solid Picks ๐ ๐ Polpette โ Classic meatballs with a subtle milky note. A nice starter! ๐ Truffle Mushroom Pasta โ Exactly as described โ simple and tasty. My friend loved it. We also tried the roasted lamb shank and pork chop โ decent but not as memorable as the pasta dishes. Still enjoyable though! Desserts: Tiramisu and Affogato โ 7.5/10 Overall, Iโd go back a third time just for the burrata and that crab pasta!! ๐ #RestaurantRecommendation #PhillyLife #UniversityOfPennsylvania #UPenn #ItalianFood
