Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

Philadelphia | Wilder

❤️Last year, a friend came to visit and really emphasized wanting to try the best restaurant in Philadelphia. So, I randomly picked Wilder, thinking I’d take a chance. It turned out to be love at first bite! I’ve been back four times now, trying everything from brunch to dinner, and I’ve never been disappointed. I was hesitant to recommend it because I felt like hidden gems could get ruined by food bloggers, but anyway, good things deserve to be seen.❤️ 🫔No Must-Try Dishes: Everything I’ve ordered so far has been amazing, exactly as pictured. The only exception is the last dessert photo, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. But all the other desserts were perfect—rich in flavor without being overly sweet (for reference, I think Tartes is too sweet). There was one time when the pasta was a bit salty, but compared to other places in Philadelphia, that’s really a minor issue.🫔 🍰For example, the frittata (P2) is a common brunch dish, but Wilder’s version is not only beautifully plated but also delicious. The flavors are light yet layered, and the accompanying salad is out of this world! It perfectly balances sour, bitter, salty, and sweet flavors. I usually dislike salads, but this one was so good I couldn’t get enough! And all this for only $18—seriously, what more could you ask for?🍰 ❤️Drinks: The drinks are always a hit, especially for those who love a bit of sweetness. Note that the Happy Hour and dinner drink menus are separate. During Happy Hour, there’s a blueberry rum-based cocktail that’s very easy to drink and not too strong. Highly recommended! The blue drink might look a bit off-putting, but it tastes great.❤️ #PhiladelphiaFood #Philadelphia #LifeAbroad
