Philadelphia Ardmore | Bam Bam Kitchen
š¦I visited a Korean restaurant in Ardmore over the weekend. I think the dishes have been somewhat adapted, but overall, the flavors were quite good. I enjoyed the few dishes I ordered and would definitely come back for more. š¦The seafood pancake was delicious. It had a good thickness and a perfect texture that was neither too soft nor too hard. You could taste the shrimp and squid inside. The spicy boneless fried chicken was also tasty. It wasn't very spicy but had a hint of sweetness, which is typical of delicious Korean flavors. I ordered the tofu soup with triple mushrooms, which was average for a Korean restaurantānothing extraordinary but solid. The bibimbap was also quite good. š¦Grilled Short Ribs As a short rib lover, I was really impressed with Bam Bam's version. Compared to Dubu, the short ribs here were incredibly tender, with none of the tough, chewy bits that can sometimes be found. Served on a hot griddle with marinated sweet onions and thin scallion slices, the combination was heavenly. I couldn't finish it all and took the leftovers home. When I reheated it at work the next day, the aroma was incredible, and it brought me joy all over again! š¦Seafood Pancake This was hands down the best seafood pancake I've ever had. I highly recommend it! The pancake was thick and had a great mouthfeel. The squid and shrimp inside were substantialāyou could really bite into the meat (not minced). The squid was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection. It was delicious on its own and even better dipped in soy sauce. #KoreanCuisine #AroundPhilly
