Philadelphia Autumn Vibes | Fall Foliage at Valley Forge 🍁
Autumn arrived later than usual in Philly this year. After spending half a year back in China, I thought I’d miss the peak foliage season—but luckily, I caught the leaves at their most vibrant red! 🍂 One week later, and it would’ve just been bare branches and fallen leaves. So here’s a quick guide to help you snap the perfect fall shots!🍂📸 📍 Location: Valley Forge National Historical Park 📸 Best Photo Spots: 1️⃣ National Memorial Arch – The park’s iconic landmark. The freshly mowed lawn had neat hay bales scattered around, making for a great rustic backdrop. 2️⃣ N Outer Line Dr – A stunning maple-lined road drenched in fiery reds and oranges. 3️⃣ Washington Memorial Chapel – A gorgeous little church (check my past posts for more pics 📝). ⏰ Best Time to Shoot: Early morning for dreamy fog & soft golden light. 🌫️✨ Sunset for warm, rich colors. 🧡 (Morning light makes the reds pop even more!) 🔔 Tips: 1️⃣ Dress warmly—mornings & evenings are chilly! Also, dew on the grass = wet shoes, so plan accordingly. 2️⃣ Parking is easy, but restrooms are limited. 3️⃣ Fewer crowds in the morning = better photos without people photobombing. #FallVibes #Hiking #Philadelphia #UPenn #EastCoastTravel #Autumn #Pennsylvania #FallFoliage #TravelDiaries #StudyAbroadLife
