Philadelphia Food|Third Visit to Perla Filipino Kamayan Feast

🌟 Perla Price: $54 per person for a set meal. For two people, you get: 🍞 Pre-meal buns (so good! dense, soft, and slightly sweet) 🍖 Proteins: whole grilled fish, half roast chicken, three pieces of crispy roast pork, seven pork spring rolls 🥬 Vegetables: snow peas, long beans, bok choy, eggplant, okra, cherry tomatoes, Brussels sprouts 🍚 Garlic rice 🍮 Dessert (peanut chocolate pudding — just okay) 🍗 Favorites: The spring rolls are amazing! The roast chicken and crispy pork skin are also delicious. The grilled fish is mild but good with the dipping sauces. 🥦 Veggies: Everything was tasty except the eggplant (but I just don’t like eggplant 😅). Even Brussels sprouts weren’t bitter! 🍚 Rice: Garlic fried rice soaked in meat drippings and sauce = absolutely heavenly! Always end up with leftovers — tastes even better the next day 😆. You can ask for utensils if you don’t want to eat with your hands. Eating kamayan-style can get messy — best for family or close friends so you don’t feel awkward digging in! 📸 Photo tip: There’s a cute fountain outside — great for golden hour photos! The restaurant is small with limited seating, so make a reservation in advance! 🅿️ Parking: Street parking or nearby Philadelphia Parking Authority garage. #Philadelphia #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #FoodShare #Foodie #PhillyDinner #PhillyLife #LifeInPhilly
