Philadelphia Food | 4.9-rated Cheesesteak next to City Hall 🧀
I'm on a short trip to Philadelphia, and how could I miss trying the city's most famous cheesesteak! After visiting the Mutter Museum, we walked for about 20 minutes to this cheesesteak place next to City Hall for lunch. 🧀Shay’s Steaks 🧀200 N 16th St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 The Philadelphia specialty truly lives up to its reputation 🤤—so much beef and cheese, it's incredibly delicious! ☝🏻We ordered The Philly Special, which comes with green pepper and onion, very refreshing and greasy. 🪑There are few seats in the store, and we arrived a little after two, but there were still no seats available. You may want to come off-peak or take out. Friends visiting Philadelphia can give it a try! It's also close to City Hall and the Christmas market~ The most amazing thing is the bread! Ordinary cheesesteak bread is the most boring. Soaked with meat juices and cheese, the texture usually becomes quite terrible. But this bread has a lot of elasticity, with a crispy crust baked to perfection and generously sprinkled with sesame seeds. The interior is chewy, and even after absorbing the meat juices and cheese, it doesn't affect the texture. It's incredible! 👍 #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaCityHall #Food #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaTravel #PhiladelphiaTravelCheckIn #InternationalStudentsDining
