Philadelphia Food | A $12 Beef Pho on a Cloudy Day
๐ The shop offers large and small options, and you can also add extra meat or beef balls. It feels like the portion size has shrunk a bit since the pandemic, as I used to order the large size and still have plenty of meat left over. ๐ For first-timers, you can try the No.1 Pho Tai, which has all kinds of ingredients. If you like tendon or slightly fatty cuts, you can order the No.4, where you can really experience the tendon being so tender it melts in your mouth without needing to chew. ๐ They should have two branches. One is in South Philly, very close to the Italian Market, just a three-block walk away. When showing friends around Philadelphia, you can combine this into your itinerary (there's not much to do in Philadelphia). ๐ The downside is that the shop only offers Vietnamese pho and some Vietnamese drinks; sometimes there's no option for appetizers. If you're looking for a date spot with ambiance, this place is not recommended. It's more of a street food joint, catering to the local community. For a date, you might want to try the other location in South Philly, which has a nicer atmosphere and more innovative dishes. #BeefPho #VietnamesePho #PhiladelphiaVietnamesePho #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaShopExploration #SouthPhiladelphiaFood #SouthPhiladelphia
