Philadelphia Italian Restaurant Recommendation: Villa di Roma 🍝✨
Located in the South Philly Italian Market, this spot is called Villa di Roma. I went with a group of students for a set meal, which included three main items: 🍞 Bread Basket – Classic and fresh. 🥗 Salad – Looked like typical “white people food,” but the olive oil dressing was delicious, so even the greens tasted great! 🍖 Cheese-Crusted Meat with Pasta – Not sure what meat it was (tasted like pork chop), coated in what I first thought was egg — turned out to be melty cheese! Very tasty, and the pasta was solid too. ☕ Iced Tea – Not too sweet, very refreshing. Since I didn’t handle the booking, I didn’t see the menu, so I don’t know the exact English names of the dishes. The organizer also invited the restaurant owner to share the history of the place. Later, a friend told me this restaurant was featured in Al Pacino’s film The Irishman — how cool! 🎬 #ItalianCuisine #Philadelphia #FoodReview #RestaurantRecommendation #VillaDiRoma
