Many people must have tried this Korean restaurant, right? Today, we decided to join the crowd, taking advantage of the half-day school schedule for the kids. By lunchtime, the dining hall was almost full, showing just how popular this place is. We chose a window seat. After we were seated and ordered, complimentary side dishes were served. My family’s favorite was the fish cake. Surprisingly, the kids gobbled up all the fish cake and rice cake, prompting the waiter to refill the plate for free. 🫕 Seafood Pancake 💰 $13.99 A crispy pancake made with vegetables and seafood, bursting with flavor in every bite. 🫕 Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes) 💰 $13.99 This was ordered by my eldest child. It’s quite spicy 🌶️, featuring rice cakes, fish cakes, and pan-fried dumplings. Personally, I’m not a big fan because the spiciness is a bit overpowering. 🫕 King Galbi Stew 💰 $23.99 A beef short rib and daikon radish soup. The taste is fresh and savory. The waiter provides chopsticks and scissors ✂️ to help cut the tender meat into pieces. The meat is already cooked to a very soft texture. 🫕 Galbi Fried Rice Combo 💰 ??? This dish isn’t on the menu, but there’s a tabletop card for it at every table. It features tender beef short ribs, egg-fried rice, and a pan-fried egg. The beef is very tender and easy to chew. The fried rice is delicious. The pan-fried egg is pretty plain, but it absorbs a bit of the sweetness from the beef, making it less bland. 🫕 Dolpan Bibimbap 💰 $16.99 It’s the same as the dolsot bibimbap (stone pot mixed rice) you’d find elsewhere. There’s not much to say about it. #KoreanCuisine #Philadelphia #PhillyFood #NortheastPhilly
