Philadelphia Restaurant Week | Giuseppe&Sons
✨ Restaurant week in Philadelphia has started again. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past, either with poor value or inconsistent quality. This time, I tried to choose a place where the menu wasn’t limited to fixed dishes. Giuseppe & Sons is an Italian restaurant, and their restaurant week menu is $40 per person, including 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 1 side, 1 pasta, 1 chicken dish, and 1 dessert. One thing to note is that if you’re dining with a group of three, you have to decide together what to order, as they will serve the dishes in portions for three. However, you can’t each order a different pasta. The portions are very generous. The three of us couldn’t finish everything and ended up taking some leftovers home. 🌟🌟🌟 For the appetizer, we chose octopus. The octopus was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce underneath was amazing and unique. For the chicken, we ordered SCARPARIELLO, which I would give 100 points. Although it was chicken breast, it was not dry at all—it was very juicy! The overall flavor was tangy and sweet. We finished the chicken and left no sauce behind. One more thing I highly recommend is their cocktail, Hotel Nacional. Although it’s not part of the restaurant week menu, it’s fantastic—refreshing, not too sweet, and not too strong. 🌟 For the pasta, we chose Sunday Gravy, which is meatball and sausage pasta. Personally, I thought it was just okay. The pasta was a bit too firm. Next time, I’d like to try the MAFALDINE BOLOGNESE. The Long Hot was really spicy. Even as someone who can handle spicy food, I found it a bit too much. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with this choice! #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaFood #ItalianCuisine #HiddenGemRestaurant #PhiladelphiaRestaurants #DowntownPhiladelphia
