Philadelphia Restaurant Week Review + Experience! 🥰 Melograno
What a satisfying and filling meal — for just $45, I’m happily impressed! 😋 Philadelphia Restaurant Week is back until January 31st, and though I didn’t get to try many spots this time, my friend and I randomly picked Melograno — and it turned out to be a delicious surprise! 🍝 What’s special is that they not only have a Restaurant Week menu but also daily specials! Here’s what we ordered: 🍅 Caprese Skewers – No choice here, but they were unexpectedly delicious! The balsamic had a smoky sweetness to it. 8/10 🍊 Blood Orange Salad (Special) – Okay but not outstanding. 6.5/10 🍄 Mushroom Pasta – Fragrant with mushrooms and nutty notes, the pasta was thick and chewy, and the portion was huge! 8.5/10 My friend’s entrée was also massive — couldn’t finish it! 🍮 Dessert – You can choose from the first three items on their regular dessert menu. I went for the off-menu Apple Spiced Bread Pudding. The pudding itself was a bit too soft — I prefer it denser. With ice cream, it felt a bit soggy. But it wasn’t too sweet, and the spices were well-balanced! The vanilla gelato was rich and creamy — honestly, I’d come back just for the gelato! 8/10 😄 Why am I writing this review? Because some restaurants reduce portions during Restaurant Week, but Melograno didn’t — plus, they offered specials, which shows they care! Service was friendly, though a bit slow due to the crowd. If I were still in Philly next week, I’d definitely come again! 👍 #Food #PhillyFood #PhillyRestaurants #PhillyRestaurantWeek #CenterCityPhilly #PhillyEats #Philly
