Philly·Top Spring Date Spots

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve dined at this French restaurant—it’s become my go-to spot without a second thought. I’ve tried their brunch and dinner multiple times, and the quality has always been consistent. The atmosphere is warmly familial yet elegant and refined. They also regularly update their menu with seasonal offerings, always bringing little surprises. This time, I decided to try their spring menu. Appetizer ☝️: Foie Gras Mousse 🌟🌟🌟 The foie gras mousse was quite good—smooth and not greasy at all. The only downside was the accompanying dry bread, which was so crispy that my friend and I almost cut our lips. While the pairing was interesting, it might have been better with slightly softer whole wheat bread slices. Appetizer ✌️: Escargot A La Provencale 🌟🌟🌟💖 One of the few times I’ve tried French-style escargot, and it was perfect—no strange flavors. The texture was slightly chewy yet soft and easy to eat. The pickled onions were a great addition, providing a slightly sour, fermented flavor that cut through the richness. Large Plate ☝️: Honey Roasted Rohan Duck 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The accompanying blood oranges were a creative touch. After enjoying the rich, pink duck breast, a bite of the slightly sour sweet oranges was incredibly refreshing. The duck was cooked to perfection—tender and easy to cut. #PhillyFood #RomanticRestaurants #PhillyDateSpots #PhillyEats #PhillySpringDateRestaurants
