Philly’s Must-Eat List for Just $15 per Person 💸

After a year and a half, I finally made a quick trip back to Philly! Here’s a mix of my old favorites + spots recommended by locals. First up — Reading Terminal Market 🏪 — my all-time favorite food hall in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to via public transit (parking nearby too, but transit is way cheaper). 🥪 Hershel’s East Side Deli 📍 Terminal Market, 1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 My go-to for corned beef sandwiches — huge, filling, and crave-worthy! Their cheesecake is also top-notch 🍰. 🥩 By George! 📍 1136 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 A Philly icon for cheesesteaks — massive, loaded, and best shared so you can try more varieties. 🥪 Sandwich Spot next to Hershel’s Forgot the name, but also delicious — right beside Hershel’s in the market. 🍩 Termini Bros Bakery 📍 12th & Filbert St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 Locals love their donuts, but I tried the coconut macaroons and other pastries — very sweet, so know your sugar tolerance 😅. 🥨 Miller’s Twist 📍 51 N 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 Soft pretzels to-go — perfect for a snack later if you’re too full. 🍧 John’s Water Ice 📍 701 Christian St, Philadelphia, PA 19147 Always a line! Their water ice is legendary. Try a combo with ice cream — I went for mango + coffee chocolate chip — refreshing and super affordable! 🥖 Ba Le Bakery 📍 606 Washington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147 A Vietnamese gem with ready-to-eat bites and delicious bánh mì. Located in the same area as John’s Water Ice — perfect for a two-stop snack run. #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #ReadingTerminalMarket #BudgetEats #MustTryPhilly #FoodHallFavorites
