Philly's First Inquirer High-End Food Festival

📅 Date: November 15 (11:00 AM – 6:00 PM) 📍 Venue: The Fillmore Philadelphia 🎟️ Ticket: Group of 4+ got general admission at ~$150 per person after tax ✨ What’s included: All-you-can-eat from top local restaurants during the event (no re-entry once you leave), plus two drink tickets per person 🍷🍹 🍴 Participating Restaurants: Most are well-known Philly favorites — many of which I’ve tried and loved! Highlights include Mawn, Càphê Roasters, Friday Saturday Sunday, a.kitchen+bar, and more. 😋 Memorable Bites: Castellino's Italian Market – The Fig Pig (so good!) Emmett's – Mustard Beef Tartare 😮 Càphê Roasters – Half a crispy chicken banh mi (huge and satisfying!) Baby's Kusina + Market – Grilled meat skewers 🔥 Ogawa – Sushi so fresh my friend immediately wanted to book their omakase! Mawn – The line stretched out the door earlier, but worth it! 👎 Low Point: Friday Saturday Sunday – A $200+ per person restaurant… serving just a tiny dessert? 😑 Since I didn’t line up for everything, I couldn’t match all dishes with their restaurants — but most were delicious! By the end, our group looked completely different from the energized crew that walked in — stuffed, sluggish, and spiritually depleted 🤣. We even packed two full to-go boxes! 📦💼 💰 Value Check: If each dish averages $5 and drinks $10, eating 20+ items means you broke even! ✅ ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: Venue felt too crowded for the turnout (dessert lines were painfully long) Queue layouts weren’t clear Restaurant names weren’t displayed prominently enough Some vendors ran out of food early Since it was the first time this festival was held, I can forgive some hiccups. Hoping it gets even better next time! 🙏🍾 #PhillyFoodFestival #InquirerFoodFest #PhillyEats #AllYouCanEat #FoodieHeaven
