Philly | I’d Return Just for the Focaccia – Via Locusta 🍞✨
I’d heard this place was famous for its focaccia, but what really shines is the pairing. Freshly baked, savory and fluffy—good on its own, but with their honey butter, it’s next level. The salty-sweet balance is just perfect. So delicious, even if it’s a calorie bomb 😅. But with Philly’s cold winter winds, who can resist? Starters: 🥗 Salad was decent, nothing special. 🐟 Salmon was nicely cooked, and the battered cucumber strips were fun—like healthy fries. Pasta: As others noted, the pasta is average restaurant quality. Preferred the Bolognese over other options. Mains: 🐟 Branzino – crispy skin, tender fish. Loved the side of shrimp and grains underneath—fresh and light. 🍗 Chicken was just okay. Letdowns: 🍨 Chef’s special dessert – too sweet and lacking structure. 🔊 Dinner ambiance was a bit noisy. But honestly… I’d come back just for that focaccia. #PhillyFoodDiary #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #WhitePeopleFood #AestheticFood #PastaLove
