Philly Food | I Found a Little K-Town in Philly! π₯’β¨
Actually, it's in North Philly β a bit far from University City β but the area is packed with amazing Korean food gems! π Kimβs Restaurant The best Korean BBQ in Philly, hands down. Always packed on weekends. A bit pricey, but so worth it β every slice of meat is tender and delicious. Add a shot of soju, and youβre in heaven πΆπ₯. π Yong Hwa Roo Korean-style Chinese food. I was skeptical at first, but one bite convinced me! How could Chinese-inspired dishes be bad? We ordered three dishes β all hits, plates cleaned ππ. π λλ°°κΈ° Ddukbaegi Bigger space than the others, though service was a bit slow. Their kimchi is amazing β perfectly tangy and spicy. The pork belly was just the right balance of fat and lean β even as someone who usually avoids fatty meat, I finished the whole plate! π The pork soup was just okay β needed lots of salt and pepper. Will come back to try other dishes. π Paris Baguette Fresh Bakery Right near these restaurants is a cute old-school bakery run by a grandma. Their $2.50 ice cream bars are a steal! I got green tea flavor, but it tasted just like the classic Chinese Green Mood mung bean popsicle β instant nostalgia π¦π. #PhillyEats #KoreanFood #KBBQ #PhillyFoodScene #HiddenGems #NorthPhilly #AsianFoodLove
