Philly Japanese Food|Best Bang-for-Your-Buck Sushi Rolls in Philly! 🍣
Since moving to Philly, I’ve tried several Japanese spots—mostly hunting for good American-style sushi rolls. So far, Bubblefish in Chinatown takes the prize for best value! ⚠️ Note: We don’t eat raw fish, so can’t comment on sashimi freshness. 🍴 Bubblefish 📍 909 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 Their specialty rolls have solid variety—tried both the Rock n Roll and Angry Dragon Roll, liked Rock n Roll better. Always order the Spicy Crab Roll—super generous filling, less rice, great flavor! Classic rolls come in 8 pieces (most places give only 6). ❌ Skip the Pork Sung Onigiri – Just dry pork floss inside. ✅ Chicken Skewers – Delicious! Tastes more like Chinese-style BBQ with chili and cumin—tender and flavorful. ✅ Stir-fried Udon (seafood or shrimp) – Not oily, lots of veggies. Solid choice. Overall, if you’re into American sushi rolls, this place is a hidden gem—my go-to comfort food spot in Philly! 😋 #Foodie #PhillyFood #DailyEats #Sushi #JapaneseFood #PhillyEats #PhillyJapanese #SushiRolls
