๐ŸŒŸ Philly Restaurant Week Revisit: A.Kitchen+Bar

๐Ÿ“ a.kitchen+bar 135 S 18th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 We opted for the Restaurant Week dinner menu ($60 per person). This visit was so much better than last time โ€” the dishes suited our tastes perfectly! ๐Ÿ˜‹โœจ ๐Ÿง€ Complimentary Cheese Puffs So fragrant and delicious โ€” a warm, cheesy welcome! ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿ„ CRISPY OYSTER MUSHROOMS I tried these last October and loved them! (Note: not on the Restaurant Week menu โ€” must order separately.) They have a Chinese-inspired salt-and-pepper vibe โ€” so crispy and savory! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿ„ ๐Ÿž CHICKEN LIVER TOAST First time trying chicken liver pรขtรฉ on toast โ€” surprisingly good! Smooth, slightly sweet, and not gamey at all. Loved it! ๐Ÿฅ–โœจ ๐ŸŸ BLUEFIN TUNA Tuna crudo is common, but the version here with sweet potato purรฉe left the strongest impression โ€” delicate and delicious! ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ  STEELHEAD TROUT It was tasty, but Iโ€™ve had it too many times lately, so it didnโ€™t wow me. Not a fan of the green lentils, though. ๐Ÿฆ† DUCK CONFIT Iโ€™ve yet to have a bad duck confit at a Western restaurant โ€” if you love duck, order this with confidence! ๐Ÿฆ†โค๏ธ ๐Ÿฅฏ HAZELNUT PARIS BREST Came here partly for this dessert! Felt a tad sweeter than last time, but if you enjoy cream puffs, youโ€™ll love the rich hazelnut aroma here ๐ŸŒฐ๐Ÿฐ. #100RestaurantsChallenge #DinnerTonight #Philly #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #FoodieDiary #PhillyLife
