🤠 Pinkerton’s BBQ in San Antonio — Wait Time Summary

🤠 Started queuing at 6:50 PM on a weekday, standing between the grass and the sidewalk. Waited 1 hour to get onto the deck, then 15 minutes to enter indoors, and finally 10 more minutes to order. By 8:20 PM, they were already out of beef ribs, pork ribs, chicken, and duck jambalaya 😢. Left with no choice, we ordered the brisket 🥩 — two long strips (about 0.7 lbs, as shown). Surprisingly tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Kinda regret not grabbing bread 🥖 from the cold sides station — would’ve been perfect to soak up those savory drippings 🧈. The cobbler 🫐 was absolutely heavenly — a must-try! The rice 🍚 and mac & cheese 🧀 were decent (my partner liked them). As for sausage — the regular was sold out, so we tried the two remaining kinds (one with cheese). Both were good but not worth the crazy wait 😅. Might try again tomorrow morning for ribs… 😂 🧑‍🏫 Conclusion: If you arrive after 6:30 PM, don’t expect ribs — unless you’re just here for the brisket! 😉 🦌 Atmosphere: Loved the vibe — high ceilings, hunting decor with deer mounts, country music playing… feels very Texas! Great spot for hanging out with a big group. Service was warm and welcoming too 🤠. #Texas #TexasFood #TexasBBQ #BBQLovers #SanAntonioTravel #SanAntonio #SanAntonioFood
