📍Pittsburgh | Super Detailed Travel Guide 1.0
Due to word limit, divided into 4 parts. Took advantage of the Thanksgiving break 🦃 + Black Friday shopping in Pennsylvania to finally visit Pittsburgh! 🛍️ Since PA is tax-free, we often come here for Black Friday, but usually just pass through—this time we decided to explore the city properly. And honestly, Pittsburgh is totally worth a real visit! (Just try not to go in winter like we did—it’s super cold and windy ❄️🥶. If you do, bundle up—a down jacket is a must!) 💡 Parking: Street parking near attractions in downtown Pittsburgh is pretty convenient and much cheaper than parking garages. 🚙 For hotel parking, expect to pay around $38/day. If you want to save, use a parking app to find cheaper spots nearby. 💡 Accommodation: Hotels in Pittsburgh are relatively affordable. 🏨 We recommend staying near downtown—it’s close to everything. We stayed at a Marriott property. Average rates are around $150-$200/night, which is cheaper than many other cities (maybe also because it's off-season?). 💡 Food: Pittsburgh’s Chinese food scene is pretty decent! 🥢 Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. We ordered four dishes, including a grilled fish, for just over $90 (before tip). Highly recommend Sichuan House—their grilled fish is super flavorful and delicious! Also loved the Chef’s Special Wings (forgot the exact name though 😅). 📍Address: 5700 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh. #Pittsburgh #PittsburghTravel #TravelGuide #StudyInTheUS #PittsburghEats #ChineseFood 🏙️🌉🍲
