Pittsburgh ☀️ Morning Stroll in Lawrenceville ☕️ (Part 1)

The weather is warming up～ Wandering around, eating and drinking—so relaxing 😌 ☕️ Inkwell Coffee First thing in the morning: get that caffeine fix! I come here almost every weekend to read and enjoy their drip coffee. (Drip coffee comes with one free refill! 🆓) It gets pretty busy after 10 AM, both on weekdays and weekends. Most customers are locals grabbing their daily coffee, reading, or working. Not an influencer hotspot, but always lively—I love the cozy vibe here～ Lately, their pastries have been getting even better! Last time I tried the Peanut Butter Kiss 🍪 and the Lemon Poppy Muffin 🍋—both were delicious! 🇫🇷 La Gourmandine’s A popular and long-standing French pastry shop with four or five locations. Whenever I crave something sweet in the morning, I take a little walk here. 🍫 Chocolate Eclair A must-buy for me～ I’m a huge chocolate lover! 🍒 Cherry Clafoutis A relatively uncommon dessert—might not be for everyone. But when I’m in the mood for something sweet, I love its rich, slightly sticky texture. It’s somewhere between custard and cake—best enjoyed slightly warmed. 🥐 They have a great variety of croissants, but not really my thing (same goes for mousse cakes). 🥖 Their baguette sandwiches are perfect for a cool lunch on a warm day. If you walk further up Butler St., you’ll find a cemetery. Once spring arrives and the grass turns green, it’s actually quite beautiful and peaceful for a stroll. 🧊 Caffè d’Amore They’ve moved and renovated—now open for dine-in! 👏🏻 With the warmer weather, I ordered a cold brew. And since it’s Valentine’s season, if you tell a pickup line (cheesy flirty line 😉), you get a cold brew teddy bear ice cube! 🧸 How could anyone resist?! I made up a silly line, and they gave me one— The bear-shaped ice cube was absolutely adorable 🥹 They also sell lots of sustainable products. I often restock my Mason jars and reusable straws here.
