Pittsburgh ☀️ Morning Stroll in Lawrenceville ☕️ (Part 2)
Continuing my solo foodie adventure~ 🍩 Oliver’s Donut Sweet, indulgent donuts—perfect for an occasional treat! I usually pair them with drip coffee ☕️ A latte feels a bit too rich with them, to be honest. This is a great spot to take a break while exploring or to catch up with friends. The donuts pictured were winter specials: Winterberry (vanilla base, aka classic) Cherry Bourbon 🍒🥃 (chocolate-based—I preferred this one!) My go-to regular flavor is Salted Dark Chocolate 🍫 📍 Lawrenceville Market House A cool little hub with several local vendors—worth checking out! They often host weekend events (check their IG @lvmkthouse for updates). You’ll find pop-ups from local businesses selling vintage clothes, wine, snacks, home goods… kind of like a mini market 🛍️ ☕️ Convive Coffee Mentioned this one before—it’s a local favorite on the corner! A perfect pit stop while strolling from Upper to Lower Lawrenceville. Compared to Inkwell (from Part 1), this spot is smaller and feels more low-key—cozy and calm ✨ ☕️ Espresso a Mano My absolute #1 coffee spot—I’ve raved about it so many times! I wish I could start every morning here 😌 A must-visit for true coffee lovers. Their drip and espresso beans rotate often—every visit feels like a delicious surprise 🎉 (Some repeats, but every blend is full of character!) 🍕 Driftwood Oven Famous for their pizza—one of the best in town! Highly recommended if you love sourdough crust or square-style pies. But I’m here to hype their weekend-only pastries and breads—so good! My favorite bread: Wheat Sourdough. Moist and chewy inside, crispy crust outside. (Tried Honey Oats Wholewheat last time—amazing texture with oat bits! 😋) Another specialty: Cruffin (croissant + muffin 🧁). Baked in a muffin tin, filled with cream—weekly rotating flavors. A calorie bomb but worth it—flaky, buttery, perfect! Their sourdough bagels are still on my to-try list—excited for next time! #PittsburghFood #PittsburghCoffee#Pittsburgh #PittsburghLife #COTD
