Pittsburgh Food Diary | Cafe Moulin Brunch Restaurant

🥟This place is a popular brunch spot in the area. We went there on a Sunday, almost at lunchtime, and waited for about 15 minutes. 🥟I was torn between their signature Alaska Crepes and my preference, the Lox Toast, but in the end, I followed my heart and chose the Lox Toast. I have to say, the food came out really slowly, and I was almost starving, haha. Inside the Lox Toast, I really liked the white herb cream, paired with cherry tomatoes, which were sweet and sour, with a creamy flavor, very appetizing. The smoked salmon was a bit salty on its own, but when you put the two halves of the toast together with the seasoned leaves in the middle, the taste was just right, and I would recommend it! 🥟My friend ordered the Ottawa, which was too bland on its own, but after asking the waiter for maple syrup and pouring it over, the flavor was just right. 🥟Their orange juice is freshly squeezed, very refreshing and sweet, and my friend also thought the coffee was good. The cost-performance ratio of this place is quite high. Each dish is roughly in the range of $10-15, and the freshly squeezed orange juice is remembered to be $6. So, for one person with a meal plus a drink, including tax and tip, it's about $20. #Pittsburgh #Brunch #RestaurantRecommendation #PittsburghShopExploration #UniversityofPittsburgh
