✨ Pittsburgh Food Find | +1 Great Spot in the North Shore 🍽️

The North Shore has more gems than you’d think! After revisiting 40th North and Fig & Ash, I tried something new— Siempre Algo, a modern American restaurant with a well-curated menu. Not too long, not too short—perfect for groups or a cozy date 😊 We ordered two shareables and two entrees: 🥂 Welcome Bubbly Complimentary drinks when you enter! I got the alcoholic version (champagne vibes 🥂), my friend had the non-alcoholic sparkling option. Such a nice touch! 🥩 Steak Tartare Unique twist—the beef came pre-mixed, topped with cured egg yolk (like salted egg yolk 🧂), grated over the top. Unexpected but delicious! 🐟 Trout Rillettes Highly recommend! Smoked trout spread with red onion purée, cream cheese, and cucumber on sourdough. So flavorful and layered! (We had a little hiccup—the toast was slightly over-toasted, but the staff quickly brought a fresh batch ❤️) ❤️‍🔥 Hollander & De Konig Mussels Must-order!! We got lucky—they arrived fresh that morning 🎣 A full pound portion, super tender and sweet. The broth was incredibly rich—perfect for dipping that crispy baguette (so guilty…so good 😩). Even the buttered corn on the side was a win! 🦐 Italian Sausage and Shrimp with Beans A bit of a miss 😅 The shrimp were fresh and bouncy, but the smoked sausage and broth were way too salty. The beans were undercooked too—felt like it needed rice to balance. Won’t order this again~ ✨ Siempre Algo 📍 414 E Ohio St, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 🅿️ Free street parking after 6 PM! Hope you enjoyed this—like & follow for more food adventures 🍷 #PittsburghFood #NorthShoreEats #FoodieReview#PittsburghEats #DateNightSpot #MustTry
