North Shore Cafe — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Good food and a great lunch spot for those of us in the area of the Cardello building. The cafe is on the second floor and has outdoor seating as well ample indoor space. It offers catering and has daily specials. The menu selection is great and pricing is fair. The only knock is the food can be hit or miss at times and drink refills...

Meh. The first time I went there about a year ago, it took them 45 minutes to get the food ready. This time the buffalo chicken nuggets were cooked to death. And they charge a "convenience fee" if you take the time to actually order it yourself online instead of calling it in. Won't bother going again - too many better places...

This place is excellent. We had the best wedding soup that I have ever had... I also had a turkey sandwich that was terrific. It was dressed perfectly with Italian dressing, lettuce and tomato. They have an extensive menu for a cafe. I wish that I lived closer, The North Shore Cafe would be on my list of frequent stops....
