π¦ Pittsford Farms Dairy π¨
π¦ Pittsford Farms Dairy π¨ After visiting the George Eastman Museum today, I made a special trip to the well-known Pittsford Farms Dairy on Park Avenue for ice cream. This place is a bit of a local legend β a small, unassuming shop that always smells of milk and sweet memories. Stepping inside, warm yellow lighting and retro wooden tables wrapped me in a gentle, old-timey vibe. The freezer case held twenty or thirty flavors of ice cream lined up neatly, bright as spilled paint π¨π¦. I stood at the counter hesitating for a while β and finally chose a double scoop of Pistachio and Cookie Monster in a waffle cone! The pistachio was a soft pastel green, with little nut bits you could actually chew β the nutty aroma and creamy sweetness balanced just right, not too sugary, like the taste of early spring grass πΏπ. Cookie Monster was a rich royal blue, packed with big Oreo chunks and chocolate chips, every spoonful full of childish indulgence πͺπ. The waffle cone was baked crispy and slightly caramelized, edged with sugar crystals β that first bite, with its satisfying crunch, felt like the most healing sound of winter! Holding my ice cream, I pushed the door open and stepped outside. Cold wind rushed at my face, while sweetness melted luxuriously in my mouth. Passersby hurried along, bundled in coats, while I stood by the sidewalk licking my cone intently like a kid, snowflakes drifting onto it βοΈπ§. Friends always ask, βArenβt you afraid of catching a cold eating ice cream in winter?β I just smile and shake my head β honestly, winter is the best season for ice cream! It doesnβt melt too fast, you donβt end up with sticky hands, and more importantly, sweetness in below-zero air seems to soften the whole winterβs bite π¦βοΈβ€οΈ. After the last bite of cone, a cool, sugary tingle lingered on my tongue. Looking back at the little glowing shop, it suddenly felt like surviving a Rochester winter wasnβt so hard after all β at least thereβs this stubborn bit of sweetness that can make you laugh out loud, even in the wind and snow πβοΈ. Next time, Iβm trying mint chocolate chip and caramel sea salt! After all, winter is long β sweet dreams should be savored slowly β¨π. #SnowySweetDreams#EatingIceInWinter#WinterIceCream#HealingLittleThings#DessertDiary
