PLOG|Matching Outfits|French Brunch at Parc in Philly 🥖
Had brunch with a new friend today at Parc, the French bistro in downtown Philly—highly recommend their brunch! I’d tried dinner before and found it a bit bland, but brunch was above and beyond—I’ll definitely be back. 🍽️ Smoked Salmon Tartine Starts with crispy toasted sourdough, topped with horseradish crème fraîche (like a lighter cream cheese), then beautifully smoked salmon—not too salty or smoky, just perfect. Finished with sliced eggs, roe, red onion, and capers (tangy little bursts that elevate everything!). Side salad with vinaigrette balances without overpowering. A truly well-composed dish. 🍽️ Steak Tartare A must if you eat raw beef! Finely chopped beef with a bit of fat, tender and easy to chew, mixed with egg and capers for brightness. Comes with bread and salad—best eaten together with the tartare. 🥖 Complimentary Bread Basket A mix of Italian bread, baguette, and nut-fruit bread—chewy, fragrant, not sweet or oily. The brown bread with nuts and dried fruit is especially delicious. Bread is refillable, so no need for extra sides! ☕ Coffee (also refillable) We sat by the open window—it even rained a bit during our meal, adding to the cozy, romantic vibe. 👯 Matching Outfits Free People’s mirrors are way too flattering—pretty sure store mirrors are designed for that! 🥐 Farmers’ Market Bread Spotted this on the way—looks beautiful but possibly hard enough to be used as a weapon 😂. Had a lovely day! #FrenchCuisine #PhillyEats #BrunchGoals #MatchingOutfits #SourdoughLove #SaladVibes
