🌲 Portland Hiking Adventure - Ramona Falls Trail 🌊

πŸ“Š Stats: All Trails: 7.2 miles / 1076 ft elevation Garmin: 7.7 miles / 1108 ft / 3hr12min After failing to kick off this year's hiking season at Poo Poo Point last month (thanks to a friend who quit halfway πŸ˜…), I spontaneously decided to drive down to Portland for a hike-and-wine weekend! Left Seattle at 8 AM, reached the trailhead by 12:30 PMβ€”no regrets! πŸš—πŸ’¨ Chose Ramona Falls Trail for its river crossing, waterfall views, and glimpses of Mt. Hood. Final rating? 4/5 🌟 The falls and mountain vistas were stunning, but the real magic was the 1.5-mile return trail along a babbling creekβ€”birds chirping, insects humming, soft pine needles underfoot... pure meditation vibes! πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸƒ ⚠️ Heads up: The first mile is boring (and sun-exposed β˜€οΈ). The "river crossing" is just a log bridge (meh πŸͺ΅)β€”or wade through if you're bold! No permits needed, but no restrooms at the trailhead either. 🚻❌ Still, thrilled this was my first hike of the year! πŸŽ‰ 🌿 Why Hike It? Waterfall payoff πŸ’¦ Serene creek-side return 🎢 Mt. Hood peeks πŸ”οΈ Dog-friendly (on leash) πŸ• #HikingPacificNorthwest #WaterfallHikes #PortlandAdventures #PNWOutdoors #TrailVibes #NatureTherapy #Wanderlust #ExploreOregon
