Praising My Hubby for Picking This Alaska Aurora Tour!! 😍

Praising My Hubby for Picking This Alaska Aurora Tour!! 😍 We initially planned a self-drive trip, but considering my husband would have to drive the whole way (and as Southerners, we’ve never driven in snow and ice πŸ₯Ά), plus being unfamiliar with the area, we decided to join a tour after much thought. Not a fan of large group tours, we found a small local Alaskan tour β€” the experience over these few days was great, the pace wasn’t rushed, and there was plenty of time for everyone to take photos and explore~ πŸ“Έβ„οΈ 😍 What I loved about it: The vehicle had a 270Β° panoramic sunroof, spacious and comfortable. The driver would warm up the car in advance, so we waited for the aurora in cozy warmth (whoever invented this type of vehicle is a genius!!) πŸš—πŸ’¨πŸ”₯ Our guide was really kind, responsible, and a smooth driver (motion-sickness friendly!). He also shared local restaurant and cafΓ© recommendations β˜•πŸ΄. It was a pure sightseeing trip β€” no souvenir pushes or detours to shops. Every day was filled with scenery and activities β€” so happy and relaxed! πŸ˜„βœ¨ πŸ€” Our 6-day itinerary: Day 1: Landed at Anchorage airport, free shuttle to the hotel πŸ›¬πŸ¨ Day 2: Matanuska Glacier hike 🧊πŸ₯Ύ Day 3: Traveled to Fairbanks, aurora chase at night πŸŒŒπŸš— Day 4: Visited Santa Claus House and the Polar Museum, tried dog sledding in the afternoon, aurora chase again at night πŸŽ…πŸ¦ŒπŸ›·πŸŒ  Day 5: Free time during the day, drove to the Arctic Circle, aurora chase at night πŸš—πŸ“β„οΈπŸŒŒ Day 6: Soaked at Chena Hot Springs ♨️❄️ ⚠️ Dress in layers (β€œonion style”) β€” quick-dry, windproof, and waterproof πŸ§₯🧀🧣 ⚠️ Alaska is cold β€” phones and cameras lose battery fast. Bring hand warmers, power banks, and spare batteries πŸ”‹πŸ“Έβ„οΈ ⚠️ Unless you have extensive winter driving experience, I really❀️ recommend joining a tour (we saw several stuck or even flipped cars on the road) πŸš—πŸ’₯πŸ™ˆ 😘 Shoutout to my hubby for taking so long to pick the perfect tour β€” that’s why our Alaska trip was so wonderful~ Sharing this for now β€” hope it helps! πŸ’– #AlaskaTrip#AlaskaAurora#NorthernLights#Fairbanks#FairbanksGuide#GlacierHike#TravelTheWorld#HoneymoonTrip
