🌿🚇Queen Elizabeth Park → Chinatown (Proceed with Caution!)
First SkyTrain ride! 🚇 Love the elevated tracks and driverless trains. Cool front-row views! Bikes allowed on board. Trains are short (2 cars) and older than back home—no platform barriers, but clean! 1️⃣ Queen Elizabeth Park: Slight elevation for views… but meh. Stanley Park’s way better. 🌳 👎 Across the street, found a tiny community park with sports courts. Watched kids play soccer in the rain—cute! ⚽🌧️ Then headed to T&T Supermarket for dumpling wrappers. Took the bus… BIG MISTAKE. 🚌😱 Drove through that street (see last pic). Felt like a zombie movie IRL. Homeless folks everywhere, some in… unsettling poses. Stayed glued to my seat till normal streets returned. 3️⃣ T&T Supermarket: Surprisingly well-stocked! Got dumpling wrappers (surprisingly good—as a I’m picky!). Also found XXL Lao Gan Ma! 🌶️🥟 💸 Vegetable shock: $20 CAD for a bunch of chives?! 🥬😭 Lesson: Master cooking in Vancouver. Bonus points if you garden. 🌱👩🍳 #VancouverTravel #SkyTrainAdventures #T&THaul 🌿🥟
